Tomorrow: Tax Help for Bloggers Podcast
March 28, 2012 : Jenna Bromberg - Past Contributor
For the third year in a row, we’ve teamed up with the fabulous Jenn Fowler of Frugal Upstate to bring you our annual Tax Tips for Bloggers, Consultants and Small Businesses Podcast.
Who: Host Jenn Fowler and H&R Block Tax Expert Elaine Smith
Where: Blog Talk Radio (click here: H&R Block Podcast)
When: Thursday March 29th, 3pm EST
For taxpayers with an income structure a bit more complicated than the traditional 9 to 5er — commonly, bloggers, small business owners and consultants — tax time can be a bit of a headache. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Jenn to help answer some of the questions specific to those who earn money through a blog or small online business, whether you’re preparing to file or have already done so (and have some lingering questions).
Which deductions could you be eligible for? What does the IRS consider taxable income? What if blogging is just your hobby? Can you deduct the cost of passes to a professional conference? We’ll cover all these topics and more — plus any additional questions you might have. We’ll be able to accept questions by chat or live call-in during the show, so tune in live or leave your specific Q in the comments here. We’ll try to touch on as many as we can.
Can’t listen live? No worries, we get it: the podcast will be available for download by the end of the week.
